Your bike headset is the mechanism that joins your bicycle forks to your bike’s frame, so you need to make sure that you have a good quality headset that will provide you with a smooth turning movement in your bike’s forks while also giving your bike strength at such a pivotal point where all the punishment you dish out is transferred. So, if you’re riding a mountain bike on demanding trails, then you better be sure to have bike headset parts that are strong enough to take the hard knocks…such as the range of Ritchey Logic headsets.

Well, I guess I’m really out of the loop on this one. I seriously need to read these articles more. I’m learning so much about a sport I always just used to enjoy for the pleasure of it. I don’t have a whole lot invested in my bike like a lot of people, so I may not shell out the bucks for something like this. But I do understand the importance of a reliable and sturdy headset. It is the major stress point on a bike. Maybe someday.
